The MK4.5 Mondy 2.0 TDCi unit IS a revised version of the engine in the MK4, you get a bit more performance and crucially the DPF is the non-maintenance version i.e. it's a coated DPF (cDPF) instead of the stupid Peugeot system involving the "eolys fluid".
close doors, put ignotion to number 2 (dashboard lights on if you have keyless start) Press both the brake and accelerator at the same time for about 20 seconds. a message will come up on the dash asking if you've services the oil, press OK on the wheel. job done. Apparently it's often down to an oversensitive sensor.
I would like to consult you about my car, Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 2010 year, due to the reason that it doesn’t work normal after regular service made in the authorized Ford service. Regular service is made at 120.000 km. for a changing of ribbed, wedge belt, oil and all filters.

Hi Guys, I have been having a starting trouble on my ford mondeo diesel 1.8 Tdci, mk4. Once the key is turned, the engine starts at first but then the engine shuts down as if no fuel and then it cranks but does not start. After a few tries starts but then I have to press the full gas to get it go

I have a 180 diesel titanium x-pack with various extras and have had a number of issues which Ford seem unable to correct, including the heater issue. Mine was build May 2015, and advised that the technicla bulletin was not applicable, as only early Mk 5's were affected.
I'm now the pround owner of a 2003 2.0 litre diesel mondeo ghia ( pre-facelift ) , but I have a problem as the speedo does not work. If you turn the ignition onto position 2 the led does show the mileage , but once you start the engine ,both the mileage and the trip computer dissapear and the speedo does not work .
